7 Oct 2019 I already have ssh port forwarding set up, and it works with Chicken of the VNC, host set to 'localhost' and port set to the port I have forwarded.

I've had to use it to connect to OSX Server's default ARD setup from Linux, but the Windows Desktop from mac. use "Chicken of the VNC", free VNC client for
